The Phoenix Group (www.phoenixgp.com) traveled to Idaho to create a Shooter’s Insight documentary and 7 educational episodes about western photographer, David Stoecklein, as he used the new EOS 7D for the first time. Canon Technical Specialist, Rudy Winston, was on location to show the photographer all the new features of the camera, both for stills and video recording. Learn about these features that will help you understand the new technology and enable you to take better photos. Or get a jump on the new world of DSLR video!
All HD Video footage for the documentary and episodes was shot exclusively with Canon DSLRs, 5D Mark II and 7D and an assortment of EF lenses. Only available light was used and shows the ability of the cameras to perform in a variety of challenging light conditions.
Professional photographers need a camera that can be customized to meet their shooting style. The EOS 7D has more extensive options to configure buttons and controls than any previous EOS model.
